Dear Diary,

I'm in Australia for 3 days for some meetings. On Saturday I'm gong to meet with the Japanese Foreign Minister. I am going to tell him that Japan should have a better relationship with China because though there are difficulties... China and Japan also share a lot of interests... you know, like, um, being in Asia?

I love Indonesia

Dear Diary,

Why is Indonesia so cool? Because I don't know, but it must have something to do with the fact that they have a very big role to play as an example of what moderation, tolerance and inclusiveness of society can be. I mean, they are down with Muslims AND they cooperate with us in fighting terrorism. And that's in spite of bombings in Bali and Jakarta! I totally think Indonesia's pursuit of democracy is an "inspiration" to the Muslim world.

Mad props to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Foreign Minister Hassan Wirayuda!

I just hope I don't get bird flu....
