Dear Diary,

I'm kind of bummed out that Iraqi ministry of health says more than 1,500 people were killed in attacks in Baghdad last month. And that's only a little less than the Iraquis who died in July. I was really sort of hoping the sectarian violence would just go away on it's own, like a scab. You know, if you don't pick at it....
